I want to thank all of you for the lovely cards and letters you have been sending. Please be patient with me and I will answer them as quickly as possible. I want to thank all of you, too, who help us financially. As we begin a brand new year, the Lord has been giving me a peek at some of the things He is calling us to do this year, and it is a bit staggering. So, please know we are always grateful for your help, and certainly your prayers.

The month of February will be a travel month for me. We will be hosting another "Gathering of the Intercessors" here in Vero Beach, February 6th and 7th. Shortly after that I will be leaving for Israel, and then from Israel to Washington, DC on assignment. Again, I appreciate your prayers as I travel.

When the Lord began to call this newsletter in to existence, He spoke two Scriptures to me. First of all, from the New Living Bible, First Corinthians 12:28 which reads: "Here is a list of some of the members that God has placed in the Body of Christ: First are apostles, second are prophets, third are teachers, then those who do miracles, those who have the gift of healing, those who can help others, those who can get others to work together, those who speak in unknown languages."

The second one He gave me was Ephesians 4:11-16 which reads: "He is the One who gave these gifts to the Church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers. Their responsibility is to equip God's people to to do His work and build up the Church, the Body of Christ, until we come in to such unity in our faith and knowledge of God's Son, that we will be mature and full grown in the Lord, measuring up to the full stature of Christ. Then we will no longer be like children, forever changing our minds about what we believe because someone has told us something different or because someone has cleverly lied to us and made the lie sound like truth. Instead we will hold to the truth in love, becoming more and more in every way like Christ, who is the head of His Body, the Church. Under His direction, the whole Body is fitted together perfectly. As each part does it's own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love."

Notice first of all: It is God Himself who appoints and places these gifts in His Body. He places them where He pleases, and where they can best serve Him and His purposes. The Church is His Body, and He is the Head of His Body. In other words, He is the covering of His Body! No matter where He plants us for a season, He is our covering while we are there, not man! No matter where He calls us to go to minister in His Name, He opens the door for us, He leads us out by His Spirit, He goes before us to make the way, and He covers us from behind. We minister in His power and authority. He is our covering! Not man!!!!

Yes, we submit to those in authority, and to each other in love, as we would submit unto the Lord. However, if anything is required of us that is contrary to the revealed will of Almighty God, we must decide if we will obey God or obey man. Yes, we ask prayer warriors and intercessors to pray for us, and for our trips, but He is the One who actually covers us.

Since it is very clear from these Scriptures that God appointed first apostles, second prophets, third teachers etc, have you ever wondered why we only see pastors in control of most congregations? This is only one of the many changes that are coming about in the Church. Pastors are going to have to release control of the congregations, move over, and allow the apostles and prophets to take their God given places in His Kingdom. And many of them will be women!

God Himself is bringing down the walls between ministry positions. There will be team work in His Kingdom! There will no longer be one man exalted over a congregation. He said, "One is no more important than the other!" He also said that He will no longer tolerate a wall between men and women in ministry. His women will no longer be abused! He said to me, "My Word shall be carried by men and women alike!"

When all of the gifts God has given to the Body of Messiah are in their proper place, as He wills, and they begin to team, all of the other members of the Body will be able to begin to function in their giftings. Once this happens, the Lord can begin to develop their gifts in preparation for the ministries He has for each one of them. As a result they will soon begin to grow and mature in Him. Then, when they are equipped and ready, and God calls them out, the team will release them to Him. The Lord said that He will no longer tolerate the manipulation and intimidation that has been used to keep them under man's control. He said to me, "They are My sheep!" "They are My responsibility!"

Each individual congregation should be a safe place for every member of the Body to begin to step out in their giftings. They should not be made to feel intimidated or fearful of making a mistake. All of us can make a mistake! The team should be there to coach them, and help them grow and mature. If at any time correction is needed, it should be done in love.

God is raising up a prophetic Church in this hour with Elijah and John the Baptist as prototypes. That is why pastors alone cannot take the Body of Messiah any further. Only those who have functioned as apostles or prophets can nurture those of like call. You cannot teach or bring instruction in anything you have not walked through, and pastors have never been subjected to the years of excruciating disciplines that are required of those functioning as apostles and prophets.

Can you just imagine a pastor saying to Elijah or John the Baptist, "Just sign this membership card, be in service every time the doors are opened, you'll sing a few songs, you'll hear a sermon, pay your tithe, and God will be pleased?" I don't think so! Elijah would immediately challenge the pastor, and John the Baptist would scream, "Repent!" God is raising up an army of prophets and apostles who will be sent in to the congregations to make known the changes needed. My advice to the pastors is to heed the words of the nameless, faceless ones sent to you.

If you would ever read some of the mail I receive, you would be shocked. One minister wrote saying we really need to be praying for the pastors because so many things are happening to them. He went on to say that it must be curses that witches are speaking against them during Halloween. Immediately I heard the Lord say, "Myrna, it's not what the witches are doing, It is what I AM is doing!"

The biggest complaint among those who are calling for prayer for pastors across America is that there are believers going to their pastors in congregations all across America telling them that the Lord is calling them to, "Come out from among them!" "Separate yourself!"

The retort of the pastors is always that the believers are in rebellion. They seem to think they just want to hop from one congregation to another. They believe they must be permanently planted. They do not realize that the Lord is calling them out to come unto Him in that Secret Place for a time of preparation. Again, it is something that the Great I AM is doing in many congregations throughout the land. He has said to me, time and time again, "I AM trying to awaken the Church!" "I AM trying to get their attention!" "I AM calling out My Remnant!' "I, Myself, will prepare My people!" "I will build My Church!"

I had one pastor say to me, "But, Myrna, what's wrong with the Church? The Lord said that He is coming for a Church without spot or wrinkle, so what's wrong with it?" I couldn't believe what I was hearing, so I just said, "The Church has got a long, long way to go before it is without spot or wrinkle!"

You know, 9/11 happened and the following Sunday most congregations were full. However, the following Sunday they were back to normal again. You ask why? It is because the people did not find anything there. The Church at large is dead!

In the first place it has holes in it's foundation. It is not on a sure foundation! Without the apostles and prophets it is lacking clarity of vision and direction. It is moving on man's agenda, not on God's agenda, and in most cases each one is building their own kingdom. The god of entertainment has replaced true worship to the Lord! In most cases it is more like a social club, not the House of Prayer that God called it to be! In many cases the Holy Spirit is not welcome at all, and in other places they say He is welcome, but they refuse to allow Him to move. The people are not being healed and set free! The people are not being equipped for ministry. Everything has been pretty well internalized, and when that happens, it will die. And there is no question about the Church being dead! There is no life! There is no power! It truly is dead!!!

A couple of years ago, I was in a service with about 950 other pastors and evangelists. "Suddenly" a Word from the Lord came forth calling all of us to repent of all sexual sin, and many such sins were named. Not a soul stirred! "Suddenly" the Lord spoke again! This time ordering the demonic spirits to be bound, and demanding immediate repentance. The very moment that the demonic spirits were bound there was a stampede to the alter. They were face down all the way back through the building, even as far as the door. It was a huige building! I looked around and there were only twelve to fifteen of us left in our seats. I said to the Lord, "You are calling for repentance of sexual sins! These are pastors and evangelists! I was horrified! These were men and women standing behind pulpits! As I sat there in absolute shock I heard the Lord say, "The Church is full of sin, Myrna!"

The Lord is also dealing with the prophets! "My heart within Me is broken because of the prophets!" He said that all too many of them prophesy out of their own spirits, not from the mouth of the Lord. Many of them speak peace when there is no peace. They tell people whom they know are in sin, those who are walking their own way, not God's way, that everything will be alright. He said, "If they had stood in My counsel, and caused My people to hear My Words, then they would have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings."

He went on to say, "I AM against the prophets who steal My Words every one from his neighbor." He said that they do not come and sit at His feet to get His Word for the congregation they are called to minister to, but instead they share words that are being spoken by others. This has been particularly true of the Word of Faith movement. They all speak the same Word, making an idol of 'faith,' and because of that many have been hurt, and their faith nearly destroyed, with many walking away from the Lord altogether. God's true prophets get their Word directly from our Source, every time they are called to minister. God and God alone!

When 9/11 happened, everyone was trying to figure out why the Lord had not told the prophets. And the prophets right away began to blame it on a demonic attack. Only one prophet stood up and said the Lord had lifted His Hand. "It was judgment!" All of the others immediately pounced on the one lonely prophet saying, "If you say that they will crucify you!" However, the one lonely prophet said that he couldn't help what they would do, he had to speak what the Lord told him to speak! Again, all of us who were fasting and praying were told "It is Me!" "It is judgment!"

Just two days before 9/11, President Bush signed the o.k. for stem cell research, and he also said that he had a vision of a Palestinian State on land God gave to Israel. Within 48 hours of that being shown on T.V., 9/11 happened. God Almighty is still on the Throne! He sees, and He hears!

It was the very same thing with the war in Iraq! There were prophets all across this country telling people that the war was not of God. However, those of us who hade been fasting and praying were told by God that the war was of Him. We were told that it had to happen, and it did! In fact, for a period of three years He had been telling us that war was coming and we were not to pray against it!

How many of you have seen big name prophets on television, prostituting their anointings, to hard sell the people in T.V. land to give to a Christian Television Station they were standing with? Hour after hour they stand in front of television cameras, talking a mile a minute, trying to get people to pick up their phones and give a certain amount of money, in a certain amount of time, so God will give them thus or so. It is absolutely nauseating!

This is the reason the true Christian prophets that God has been preparing, and is sending out in this hour, are nameless, faceless people who cannot be bought. They are marching to a different drummer. They are totally sold out to the Lord. Compromise has no part of them.

Leonard Ravenhill once said, "America needs another Jeremiah to weep over her sins, another John the Baptist to call everyone to repentance, and another Elijah to call down fire from Heaven that the multitudes may cry once again, "The Lord, He is God!" "The Lord, He is God!"

There is a clarion call going forth from the Throne to call prayer warriors and intercessors to come together in one acord, laying down our own agendas to take up His. Once again, He is saying, "Come together! Hear My heart beat concerning My Israel, My Church, and America. Come and pray for that which is on My heart, and I will take care of all that is upon your heart!

and to hear what MY Spirit is saying, as today. Never before has there been a time to set your heart like flint to press into the Secret Place. There are many, many things soon to unfold, and be told, that will cause men's hearts to fail them for fear. So I bid you, come! Come in to the place in My heart, where fear will not touch you, and nothing can shake you. Come! Come unto Me! Gather together!"

Saturday morning we will come back together at 9:00 AM, and our focus will be on the Church. We will break for lunch at noon, then come back together until 4:00 PM, with our focus on America.

There is a registration fee which will also include lunch on Saturday. If you fly in to the Melbourne Airport, we will make sure you have a ride both ways.
