I pray that you all have had a wonderfully blessed Holiday Season, and I also pray that you will have a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year.

A New Year that is chock full of the blessings of Almighty God!

December was a very busy month for me with lots of travel. It was such a blessing to see so many of the Intercessors from Central and Northern Florida. Shirley Schindler and Marion Shin hosted many of us at their annual luncheon to usher in the Holiday Season.

I was also privileged to host and travel with Daniel Carmel, "The Fisherman of Galilee", and Music Minister, Rami Zarhin, They are a delightful duo, and truly were sent to us by the Lord from Israel as His Ambassadors of Love. Rami’s daughter, Donna, and her husband, Ophuir, were able to come and spend time with us as well. I thank God for such a blessing!

Pastor Ron and Ann Blanton of Jehovah Shamah Ministries in High Springs, Florida was our first stop, and what a blessing that was! It was so good to see so many of the Intercessors from the Gulf Coast, and the flow of God’s love those two days was nothing short of awesome! It was such sweet fellowship! The Lord drew at least six men and women who function as prophets of the Lord together there, and Daniel and Rami were given a blessed send off as they began their journey across the eastern states.

Pastor Gary Cristafaro from Melbourne Assembly also hosted them, and again it was such a sweet time of fellowship! A blessed time in Yeshua, and Daniel and Rami found that they have many brothers and sisters in Melbourne who dearly love them, their people and their music. Daniel and Rami sing so many of the worship songs we dearly love in both Hebrew and English. There is such purity in their worship, and a precious anointing on the Hebrew as it is sung. I heard Estelle Thompson say that it was a wonderful way to end the celebration of Chanukah, and it truly was.

As I am writing this newsletter Daniel and Rami have gone on to Tennessee where they are being hosted by Paul and Joane Gelep and will minister in several congregations in that area. Then, Pat Self of Bride of Life International Ministries will also be hosting them as they move on in to Virginia. The love of God will surely be flowing in each of these places, for they have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of these two dear brothers.

We will get one right out to you. There is such a precious anointing upon them. The Lord has told us to help His sons, for they are traveling for Him, and we want to do just that, all glory to God.

On a Friday evening at the beginning of December, 20 young adults met to worship, praise and strategize in Jerusalem. Then, the following Thursday when they came back together, they had a profound visitation of the Holy Spirit within their midst.

The same evening, at a different location in Jerusalem, some 40 soldiers, who believe in Yeshua, met for fellowship and to be strengthened in their faith. At yet another location in Jerusalem, about 120 youth from all over Israel gathered together to worship and praise the Lord. As they worshipped there was a powerful sense of the Presence of the Glory of God.

Later that same evening, two buses were transporting some of these believers back to Haifa when one of the buses was hit by a car. The windows on the bus were shattered, but not a soul was hurt. It turned out that the car was totaled. It was a stolen "get away" car and the driver had just been involved in a robbery.

One of the youth stepped off the bus and said, "The Lord Yeshua came to "undo" the works of the evil one, who is a thief and a robber. This was an encounter between light and darkness, and darkness was overcome, while God protected His own."

In yet another instance, two new young believers, one a Sabra (native

Israeli) and the other an Ethiopian immigrant, were riding a bus and suddenly sensed the Holy Spirit enter the bus. They stood quickly to their feet and one of them said, "Yeshua is Lord, and He is present to heal anyone who has a problem. Just tell us and we will pray for you."

Right away a lady with a serious leg problem asked them to pray for her, and she was immediately healed to the glory of God, leaving the rest of the passengers speechless.

Another day the same two believers were at Zion Square in Jerusalem and came upon a poor immigrant who was playing his violin for coins that the people threw in to his open case. The believers walked up along side of the man and began to sing praise songs, and he began to accompany them.

Soon people began to gather all around and by the time it was all over the man had a case full of NIS 100 bills. So the two believers announced to everyone that the God of Israel is a God, who through His Son, Yeshua, prospers His own! They immediately spoke Psalm 118: 25 over the crowd.

There are a number of events planned by these young believers to take God’s light in to the darkness so they can be a witness and cause the hearts of Israelis to turn back to the God of Israel. Please pray for all of them for they have the boldness and they have the zeal. They simply need to be covered in prayer. The Lord is doing awesome things through all of these young ones. They have no fear of man, nor do they fear persecution. Pray also for the ministers who have been working feverishly to disciple these young ones. They need our prayer and financial support.

In mid October, Wayne Hilsden, Pastor of "King of Kings" in Jerusalem was watching nearly a hundred Orthodox men as they danced under a giant succah. He became engaged in deep conversation with a friend of his who was a very religious woman and one of the organizers of the Simchat Torah celebration. She suddenly began to sing some of the lines from Paul Wilbur’s CD, ‘Lion of Judah’, knowing that Paul Wilbur is a Messianic Jew. She also began to share with Pastor Wayne that she had been attending many of the services sponsored by the International Christian Embassy during the Feast of Tabernacles. She told him how much she loves the Christians and how touched she was in every worship service. Pastor Wayne was taken by surprise!

After the celebration was over, he began to walk back to the Pavilion, which would take about fifteen minutes. He checked his watch to see what time it was and noticed that it had stopped. He shook his wrist vigorously to try to get the watch to move again, and when he did that, the second hand jumped four seconds at a time instead of its former smooth rotation.

Pastor Wayne said to the Lord, "If You are trying to say something to me, I’m listening." Within moments he had the distinct impression that He was saying: "Wayne, your watch has stopped because I AM saying that a former era has now stopped. And in the same way that you shook your wrist and your watch started to move again, so I AM now shaking everything that can be shaken. And this shaking is the ushering in of a new era in which I will accomplish My End Time purposes. Also, just as your watch began to move again, this time jumping four seconds at a time, so I AM speeding up the fulfillment of My End Time purposes. It will be like the woman in travail whose contractions speed up.

Suddenly Pastor Wayne remembered that the first thing his wife, Ann, had said to him that very morning was, "Wayne my watch stopped!" He hurried and called Ann and asked her what time her watch had stopped. She told him at 12:00 midnight. He said to her, "Exactly at midnight?" To which Anne said, "Exactly at midnight!" Then he told her that his watch had stopped at fifteen minutes before midnight.

Again Pastor Wayne went to the Lord and said, "What are You saying?"

Immediately he sensed the Lord saying, "The new era you are entering in to now is a very short period leading up until My coming. That is why your watch stopped with only fifteen minutes left before 12:00. Just as you shook your wrist to start your watch, I will be shaking My people, and you will see the veil over the eyes of My Jewish people begin to come down very rapidly."

As Pastor Wayne thought about his religious friend, he sensed the Lord saying, "The shaking that has begun and has inaugurated this rapid move of the Holy Spirit just before My coming will cause even the eyes of the ultra Orthodox to open. Don’t be surprised when you see that it is these who will suddenly be brought into the Kingdom."

Congress enacted legislation in 1995 calling for the United States to move its embassy to Jerusalem, but the president can postpone the move every six months due to national security interests. The waiver has been used every six months since the law was passed.

President Bush said before he was elected the first time that moving our embassy would be his first priority. Six years later he has just delayed the move for another six months, but said that his administration remains committed to beginning the process of moving our embassy to Jerusalem in a memorandum to the Secretary of State.

A White House spokesman said, "Moving our embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem now would complicate our ability to advance toward peace between the Palestinians and the Israelis and the establishment of President Bush’s two state vision, two states living side by side in peace!"

Joseph Farah is an American Arab Christian who covered the Middle East as a journalist for many years. Needless to say he really questions the thinking of Condi Rice and President Bush as they continue to pursue policies of appeasement with regard to the Islamic terrorists of the Israeli-Arab conflict, while pursuing their own war against the Islamic terrorists in Iraq.

Condi Rice, at a dinner celebrating the third anniversary of the American Task Force on Palestine, said that America could have no greater legacy than to divide the Land of Israel and establish a Palestinian Arab state to end what she called the "humiliation of occupation." She went on to say that the Palestinian people deserve a better life, a life that is rooted in liberty, democracy, uncompromised by violence and terrorism, unburdened by corruption and misrule and forever free of the daily humiliation of occupation. She told those in attendance, "I promise you my personal commitment to that goal."

Joseph went on to say, "It is worth mentioning that these leaders, the ones who are going to usher in to existence Rice’s fantasy of democracy, liberty and an end to terrorism and corruption, consider all the Jews of the Middle East as occupiers. The only way that occupation will end is by their annihilation. And when Condi Rice feeds their passions with this kind of talk, she is in reality paving the way for a future holocaust".
 

Representative Keith Ellison told a cheering crowd of 3,000 Muslims gathered together in Dearborn, Michigan, from all across the country, to remain steadfast in their faith and push for justice. He said, "You can’t back down! You can’t chicken out! You can’t be afraid! You have got to have faith in Allah, and you have got to stand up and be a real Muslim." He went on to say that Muslims can teach Americans about justice and equal protection. He said, "You are up to bat right now!"

"How do you know but what Allah has brought you here to teach these Americans what tolerance is and what justice is?"

Ellison told the cheering crowd that on January 4th he will use the

Quran, not the Bible, during his swearing in ceremony. During the five

day convention, held at the Hyatt Regency, there were many workshops and panels on a range of topics from civil rights to politics to how to spread Islam throughout the United States. Cheers and shouts of "Allahu akbar (God is great) rang throughout the place.

While our troops battle Islamic extremists abroad, the Pentagon is reaching out to Muslims here at home striving for mutual understanding with Muslims here and abroad. West Point and other service academies have opened Muslim prayer rooms, as have military installations. Imams serve full and part time as Chaplains at the academies and some bases.

Top non-Muslim officers and Pentagon officials celebrate religious events with Muslims here in the US and also overseas. Deputy Defense Secretary Gordon England said, "There is a message here, and that is that Muslims and the Islamic religion are totally compatible with Western values."

For the past two years, Mr England has hosted an Iftar, the feast that ends the day time fast during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, at the Army Navy Country Club in Arlington, VA. President Bush has also hosted an Iftar at the White House the last three years as has the US State Department. General Robert Magnus of the US Marine Corps also held an Iftar at the Marine Corps Barracks in Washington. All of our embassies around the Globe have done likewise.

Is it any wonder that the Lord says that He is angry with Washington? Is it any wonder that He says that He is angry with the White House? Is it any wonder that He is angry with the laws of our land? He said, "You, Washington have sold out to the enemy! You have been invited as guest of honor to sup at the enemy’s banquet table! The table from which you feast is spread with the food of deception! You have consumed the poison apple of the serpent! You, America, are as Adam and Eve! You feed the enemy’s food to this nation through the laws of the land. Food that has infected the nation with a putrid aroma, stench unto My nostrils. You have committed adultery against Me. You speak My Name before the people of the nation, but behind their backs you bow your knees to Baal. I have warned you, but you have not heeded My warnings! You, America, blow to and fro like weeds in the wind! I call you one more time to REPENT, America! REPENT!"
 

Sid said, "A deception is rapidly spreading in the Body of Messiah, and it is costing precious Jewish souls their eternal salvation! It’s called "dual covenant" theology. You may not know it by that name, but prominent Christian leaders and their organizations have bought into this deception, perhaps without even realizing the horrible consequences.

"As well intentioned as these organizations are, many promoting political action and to "honor Israel," their underlying philosophy actually ignores what Yeshua taught about the salvation of the Jewish people!

"Have you heard this? "Jews don’t need Jesus to be saved." "God honors the Jewish covenant without Jesus." "Certainly I would share Jesus with any Jew who asks." When was the last time an unsaved Jew asked you about Jesus?

"I am grieved and angered because this aberrant teaching contradicts the very words of Yeshua, "No one comes to the Father except through Me!"

(John 14:6, NKJV).

"It is subtle. It is politically correct, but it is causing untold numbers of Jewish souls to perish without knowing the Truth at a time when they are open to hear and ready to receive."

Note: I feel such a need to share Sid’s letter with you, for I have received the same type letters of warning from Jan Markell, "Olive Tree Ministries" and Jonathan Bernise, "Jewish Voice Ministries International." All of these are Messianic Jews who know that the only way to the Father is through Yeshua, and their hearts are burdened for their own people.

I must tell you that the Lord has told me to keep on doing as I have always done and not to connect with any other organizations that are promoting "dual covenant" theology or what some refer to as "divine election". I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, we all must come in through the blood of Yeshua. There is no other way to Abba (Father).

While we are on the subject of sharing Truth with the Jewish people in Israel, Simantov wrote concerning the new Knesset Christian Allies

Caucus: "They write in their own words, "The caucus condemns and refuses alliances with any groups that pursue the conversion of Jews to Christianity."

Simantov said that he does not understand how any Christian organization could agree to be a part of such a caucus that will not allow you to pursue the great commission of the Scriptures (Acts 1:8). I know that the large Christian Ministries in Israel have all signed papers stating that they will not witness, or permit their people to witness, to Jews.

I myself could never sign such a paper. I was based in Jerusalem for more than two years and I witnessed each and every time the Holy Spirit gave me the opportunity.

On January 20th seven of us will be leaving for Israel as delegates to the International Prayer Conference in Jerusalem. May Briscoe, Susan Preston, Bob and JoAnn Hahn, Jan Wilker, Marion Shin and I would all appreciate your prayers for our trip to and from the Land.

Please pray that all of our luggage will arrive with us, and also for our safety as we travel by land and in the air. Please join us as we pray for the conference and all those called by the Lord to be there.

May all of God’s plans and purposes be accomplished in the conference, and as we travel the borders. We are praying also for divine appointments and divine connections.

January 15th Patrick Smith will be leaving for the Sudan. He will be there to serve the people as part of a medical mission team. He is scheduled to return on or about February 1st. He would appreciate your prayers for himself and the entire team. Let us pray for their protection as they travel to and from the Sudan, for unity among the team members, and that all of God’s purposes be accomplished.

Pastor Sadie Connor will be leaving for Jamaica the first of February.
