Greetings from Brunswick,
As we begin a brand new year, a new beginning and a lot of new challenges, let us take a moment to thank the dear Lord for all that He brought us through in 2007. Many of our brothers and sisters have come through horrible fires, floods, mud slides, tornados, hurricanes, ice storms, snow storms, and now severe drought.
As a result of the severe storms, pestilence, drought and war, the Lord is saying that we will also have to deal with shortages and famine. He has forewarned us of this by the disappearance of the honey bees which are used to pollinate about 30% of the food that we eat. Food prices have already begun to rise and will continue to do so as more and more food items become scarce. Nevertheless, the Lord is telling us that He will lead us through just as He led Elijah through, if we will walk in a spirit of repentance, be obedient, and stay close to Him, trusting Him completely with our lives. If we will do this, He will do amazing “miracles of provision” for us.
In preparation for all that is coming, Abba is calling all of us to come away with Him! Spend time with Him! Come up higher! He wants to have constant communion with us. He wants to do a work within each of us to help us to discipline our eating habits. He will cleanse our body (temple) and lead us to eat the foods that are right for each one of us individually, and then do the work within each of us that will enable us to consume much less food and be satisfied. If we are a willing participant, He will do the rest.
Demonic activity is increasing and it will continue to do so. Occult activity and New Age activity will be a snare to many causing them to fall away. The Lord is calling many of us to get up through the night to spend some time in watching, praying, and worship. If we are obedient to His call to night watch, He will share many things with us concerning the days ahead and how to prepare. He may also lead us to intercede for a brother or sister who is in serious trouble. Our obedience in this is important for it could be a matter of life or death for another. He will strengthen us when He calls us to night watch!
There will be distractions all about us. Therefore we must guard our eye gates and our ear gates, being very particular about what our eyes see and our ears hear. He is calling us in to His Word, and also to intimate worship. Worship Him in Spirit and in Truth! As we do this, He will reveal His Presence. He will also give us the eye of a dove that will stay focused on Him, and He will fine tune our hearing. He is calling all of us to come apart with Him, lean on Him and His understanding. Be holy as He is holy! Rest in Him!
Note: As He was sharing about the shortages and famine coming, He took me to Deut.8 where He was reminding His people that He had led them through the wilderness for forty years to humble them, test their character and find out if they would obey Him. He allowed them to hunger so He could feed them with manna, a “miraculous provision.” He said that this year (2008) is going to be a real time of testing for all of us.
Approaching Darkness
“Hear and pay attention. Do not be arrogant, for the Lord has spoken. Give glory to Yahweh before He brings darkness, before your feet stumble and fall on the darkening hills. You hope for light, but Adonai will turn it to thick darkness and change it to deep gloom.” (Jeremiah 13:15,16)
“My people hear Me, says the Holy One. I will not be mocked or deceived. As men follow their own paths of selfishness and sinful pleasures the Spirit of Yahweh has no choice but to depart. As My Shekinah Glory departed from the Temple in Jerusalem, so too, will I withdraw My Presence from you. For what has light to do with darkness?.
“The feelings of separation, loneliness and emptiness will be great among the people. Many will try to take their own lives, but will not be able to. Yet even in these most desperate of times, they still remain unwilling and unmoved to consecrate themselves wholly and completely unto Me. It will be as I have written in My Word, they will lift their fists in rebellion to Me to the very end. This was written to those who did not believe, but many even now, who claim to be Mine, will be included with those who lift their fists against Me. These believe in a Gospel of comfort and ease, of prosperity and self-love. It is a different Gospel and a different Messiah. They will be counted among those who would not forsake ALL, pick up their cross and follow Me. I prepare you, My people, in advance so that you will know and be aware of the great darkness that is about to fall upon all mankind.
“Gird up your loins with the truth of My Word, and guard your hearts against the hardening that is to come. As I said to My disciples I say to you, be prepared always in all seasons to give the reason for the hope that you have. Do not let the darkness that will be upon this land quench or put out the light of Messiah Yeshua that is in you. Times of great tribulation are soon approaching and yet no one sees the signs or understands their meaning. The time of worshipping pagan gods and false religious rituals and the traditions of men are over. Excuses and rationalizations will abound for the enemy of your souls and your faith will whisper the same lie he told Eve, “Did God really say?”
“Truly, truly I tell you to take all the love of the world out of your hearts and lives and worship only Me. For only as you desire Me in your innermost being will you be able to stand against what is coming. I’m telling you these things because you are no longer servants, but My friends. Be prepared; share the knowledge of Me and My Word with those who will listen. The church age is closing and the last chapter of history is soon to be unfolded – My triumphant return.” Susan Broderick of Jeshurun Ministries

Note: Let us pray for the Ministers who have been exposed for wrong doing that they will repent publicly and return to the Lord, His way, before it is too late. The world is watching all of this and waiting to see what transpires. He said that He has only touched the tip of the iceberg, and many more will be exposed from now until the end of 2008.
A Warning to Lukewarm Believers
Jimmy Pope wrote that about a year ago the Lord called Him in to a season of fasting and prayer, and then began leading him in and out of various fellowships and congregations. He allowed Jimmy to see the judgment of God falling upon those who were not seeking Him wholeheartedly. He said that the Spirit of God was leaving the compromising congregations, and they were being given over to an apostate spirit. He saw religious spirits taking over people and whole congregations. He said, “It is a fearful thing knowing that God is bringing judgment at this time. It is time for all believers to get serious. The Spirit of God is departing from many people right now.”
Jimmy went on to share that he was praying and crying out for God to have mercy on many of the popular mega-evangelists when the Lord shared with great sorrow that these ministers have taken His Glory and prospered from the anointing of God on their lives. He went on to tell him that a spirit of greed came in through these ministers because they were teaching the people to covet wealth and prosperity, causing the people to seek after the things of the world instead of seeking after the Lord. He told Jimmy that He had spoken to these ministers many times and finally gave them over to an apostate spirit. The Lord was exceptionally upset because they were deceived themselves and were speaking the deception in to their followers.
There is a new move of the Spirit coming and the Lord is preparing His people for the new anointing. He is working to purify His people and told Jimmy that compromise and yo-yo Christianity will no longer be tolerated. He also revealed to him the coming destruction and economic collapse here in America. He went on to show Jimmy that serious acts of terrorism are going to hit our nation. Jimmy said, “The United States of America is about to change! Great fear, turmoil and chaos are just the beginning of the sorrows ahead. However, those who are seeking God with all diligence will be protected supernaturally. The peace of God will follow them! They will experience no fear! God will take care of His own continually. They will be warned just as Lot and his family were warned, and angels will lead them to safety.”
Choose This Day Whom You Will Serve
“You are too busy focusing on assignments which have not been assigned you by Heaven. They cost much, and pay little. They devour your time and waste your energy. Stop! Set aside your worldly cares for a while and rest in the Glory. Peace be still! Quiet your thoughts! Enter in to a place of silence, and soak in the Presence of the Lord. Lock the door of your prayer closet and do not come out until you are robed with the Glory of the Lord and transformed into a new person.
“You cannot continue the way you are, or you will perish. You cannot walk with one foot in Heaven and the other foot in chains. Decide this day which Kingdom you will serve, and then make your choice known to the world by your example. Unless you are robed in the Glory, you will not be able to survive the trials that are coming upon the world.” This word came through Timothy Snodgrass.
True or False
Recently Pastor Joel Osteen of Houston’s Lakewood Church, which hosts approximately 47,000 people, was interviewed by Chris Wallace on Fox News. During the course of the interview he was asked about the role of religion in politics, and then very specifically about Mormonism. He was asked if a Mormon could be classified as “a true Christian”.
His answer was, “In my mind they are”. He went on to say that if they say they believe in Jesus, he is not one to judge the little details of the Mormon faith.
When Chris Wallace went on to ask him about specifics of the Mormon faith such as the gold tablets allegedly found by Joseph Smith with the so-called “new revelation from God” Pastor Osteen admitted that he didn’t know enough about their beliefs to comment.
Apparently it did not occur to the pastor that a person can believe in a “Jesus” and find out later that they have been putting their trust in a counterfeit “Jesus”. You see, the Mormon Jesus is not the biblical Jesus whom we love and serve.
Mormon President Gordon B. Hinckley , who is revered by the Latter Day Saints as the mouthpiece of God, is referred to as “prophet, seer, and revelation” for their Church. When addressing a large gathering of Mormon missionaries in Paris he said, “The traditional Christ of whom the Christians speak is not the Christ of whom I speak. The Christ of whom I speak has been revealed in this the Dispensation of the Fulness of Times. In this Dispensation, the Lord has declared that the Church of Mormon is the only true and living Church upon the face of the whole earth.” Also, Mormon authority and First Council of the Seventy member, Milton Hunter, made clear that in Mormonism Lucifer and Jesus are “brothers”.
This is not the first time something like this has happened to Pastor Osteen. Several months back he appeared on Larry King Live, and three times refused to speak the truth of God’s Word. He was asked if Christians and Muslims serve the same God, and if Muslims or Jews die without Yeshua will they still go to Heaven. Larry King literally tried to pull a straight answer out of him, but three times he said what so many of them say anymore, “I cannot judge that”. How sad when as a pastor they are supposed to be teaching those, whom the dear Lord has entrusted to them, the difference between right and wrong, and the difference between the holy and the profane.
When Chris Wallace introduced Pastor Osteen, he introduced him as a teacher of “personal growth and positive thinking”. That is just about the size of it! Let us pray for this pastor, and others who have done the very same thing on national television, that they will truly repent, turn to God, His way, and begin to stand for righteousness and truth as God is calling all of us to do. Through interviews such as the ones involving Pastor Osteen many people are led in to serious deception. I would also like to go a step further and say that these pastors, who will not stand for truth and righteousness, will be held accountable for everyone whom they have in any way deceived. In 2008 we will see many of them brought down if they don’t soon publicly repent and turn to God, His way. Abba is doing a thorough house cleaning. He will have a Bride without spot or wrinkle!
New Age Gospel
It is not enough that we have so many Ministers behind pulpits who have been incorporating New Age materials in to their messages, but now we have one of the most popular icons of our culture becoming even more deeply involved in New Age than she was before. Oprah Winfrey, who holds a tremendous amount of influence over millions of people via radio and television, is now beginning to teach a year long course on the New Age teachings of, “A Course in Miracles”. This is a false Gospel, whose Jesus teaches that there is no sin, and that the journey to the Cross is the last useless journey. A Course in Miracles also teaches that there is no need for salvation for we are all already one with God. The Jesus of this false Gospel teaches that Oneness pervades everything because God is “in” everyone and everything.
A Course in Miracles and the Bible are not at all related. They are truly two different thought systems. They are two different Gospels! In truth, A Course in Miracles is the Holy Bible turned upside down! It has not updated or re-interpreted the Bible, but has completely re-written it. If you believe one, you must disbelieve the other. They are that opposed to one another. They are that different!
In Lesson 35 we are told to go through our day affirming that “My mind is part of God’s, I am very holy!” Lesson 70 tells us to repeatedly affirm that “My salvation comes from me!” Lesson 95 tells us to repeatedly affirm that “I am one Self, united with my creator!” On and on it goes, but I do believe you can get the picture from what I have shared here. .
When I was preparing to start this newsletter, I asked the Lord what He wanted to address this time and Oprah was the second topic He gave me. I asked Him, “Why, Lord?” I reminded Him that I don’t know that much about her for I have never watched her program. I knew she was in to New Age and that in itself was enough to keep me away.
The Lord wasted no time in telling me that I have no idea how many of His children sit in Oprah’s radio and television audience each and every day. As they do their eye and ear gates are open to all of the New Age teachings that are espoused on those programs. He said that, like so many others, they believe that she is a believer in Yeshua, but she is not.
Again, Oprah is preaching a false Gospel, and the Lord is calling His people to turn it off, and then renounce what they have already received in to their spirits that are not of Him He said that He is calling His people to turn off the Soap Operas, too! They are poison!
We have all got to come out from among them and be separate. Light cannot fellowship with darkness! If we want to study the miracles, we only need to find a quiet place, open our Bible and ask the Holy Spirit to be our teacher. There is nothing He loves more than to be invited to expound on His Word as we study. Let us keep in mind that when we look to Him as our source, we will not be deceived. He will lead us in to all truth. After all, He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life! We must learn to be led and taught by His Spirit, for there is a whole lot of deception out there, and it is going to become a whole lot worse in the days ahead. Demonic activity of every kind is greatly increasing! .
Another of Matthew’s Exploits!
Last month I shared about Matthew being called by God to a specific Casino to sound his Shofar, which he did and ended up leading nine people to the Lord. Recently Matthew went forward during a church service for prayer and when he did, the Lord said, “You keep questioning whether you are hearing me or not. I’m speaking to you! Clean out your ears!” So Matthew, went out in to the parking lot with some Q-tips and began to clean his ears. Then, he heard the Lord say, “Let’s go for a ride!”
As he drove along the Lord told him when and where to turn. He finally ended up at the back of a house and was told to park. Then the Lord told him to go up to the back door of the house, knock on the door, and tell whoever answered the door that he had come to pray for Kathy. It was about 10:00 at night and Matthew is about 6’3’ so could appear a little threatening. Nevertheless, he went to the door and knocked. After what seemed like a long time, a man opened the door and said in an irritated voice, “What do you want?” Matthew said, “I’ve come to pray for Kathy!” The man replied gruffly, “Who are you?” Matthew replied, “The Great J.C. has sent me to pray for your wife, Kathy.”
The man’s eyes got real wide and he graciously opened the door and told Matthew to follow him, and he led him to a bedroom where Kathy was in bed. She had a terrible case of poison ivy and her throat was constricting. Matthew prayed for her and her throat began to open up again. The man turned to Matthew and said, “Man, you really freaked me out when you said what you did!” Kathy asked, “Why? What did he say?” Her husband told her that he said, “The Great J. C. has sent me to pray for Kathy!”
Kathy began to laugh and explained to Matthew that last week she had told her husband that he should go to church services with her to which he had replied, “I’ll go to services with you when the Great J.C. Himself comes down here and tells me to go.”
Matthew said when those words came out of his own mouth he was both appalled and embarrassed for he had never referred to the Lord that way before, (The Great J.C.), in fact, he felt that it sounded disrespectful. Nevertheless, the Lord knew what it would take to have a direct impact on Kathy’s husband. Praise His Holy Name! Isn’t He awesome? He will do the neatest things when he has a willing and obedient participant.
Jamaica
Last month I shared about Deborah Giordany being sent to Jamaica and then told to blow her Shofar in Customs on her return trip, which she did, causing security to come running. Well, I had a call from Martha Mehlem in Nashville who shared about another sister who was sent to Jamaica from Nashville this past November with her Shofar in hand. On her return flight through Hartfield Airport in Atlanta, security asked her what she was carrying and so she explained to them what it was and what it was used for. They asked her to sound the Shofar for them, which she did, and it brought complete silence. Two different people came to her and told her they felt something in their spirit. Martha said, “Wow, Abba is sounding His trumpets everywhere!” PTL
Pay Attention to Your Children!
Each year Shirley Schindler opens her home and invites us all to come and celebrate Chanukah and kick off the Holiday Season. Before lunch we were all having a real nice time of fellowship when Betty began to share about a little girl whom the Lord had recently revealed Himself to and in such a precious way. After Betty finished sharing I told them all that the Lord had been telling me to tell His people to begin to pay attention to their children, listen to what they are speaking and watch what they are doing, for He would be coming to reveal Himself to them in very special ways. .
After that Estelle began to share about another little girl to whom the Lord had revealed Himself to in such a sweet way. The anointing as everyone was sharing about these visitations was so very special!
We were so blessed then when another sister, who is a school teacher, began to share about a visitation she and her class had as she was reading a book to them. The Lord had spoken to the teacher before she began to read to the children and told her to give a check to an aid who was sitting in the back of the room. She had all intentions of doing so but didn’t move to do it immediately. All of a sudden she noticed that the aid left the room. She knew that she had to run after her and call her back to give her the check, which she did. When she gave it to her, the aid hugged her so tight and just wept, so the need must have been great.
After the aid left the room then, the anointing really settled down upon the teacher so beautifully and then a spirit of weeping came upon one of the little girls and then it was like a ripple effect as it slowly moved across many of the other children. She said the peace and anointing of the Lord in that room was absolutely awesome. She fought back tears as she was telling us about it. She said for the rest of that class they just enjoyed His Presence. Hallelujah!
Missions
Please be in prayer for Marion Shin and Janet Wilker as they leave for Israel this month as delegates to the International Prayer Conference in Jerusalem. Janet will be departing January 16th and Marion will be departing January 18th. Both of them will return February 3rd. Please pray for their protection for they will be praying in house, and also out on location. They usually visit the hot spots to pray with their feet on the ground. May all of God’s plans and purposes for this gathering be accomplished, and He be glorified in all that is said and done.
