Holiday Greetings from Brunswick,

I pray that you all have had a wonderfully blessed Thanksgiving Day. We all have so much to be thankful for! I don’t know about you, but I delight in telling Him so. Above all else, I love to spend time just worshipping Him, for He and He alone is worthy of our worship and our praise!

Let me take this opportunity, too, to thank all of you who have written and shared what you are hearing from the Lord in this hour. It just blesses my heart to see the way that the dear Lord is speaking to so many of us in dreams and visions as of late. Not only that, but the message contained in each one either confirms all of the others, or expounds further in order to give us clarity of vision.

In just the last two weeks, I have been routed out of bed three different times with an urgency to pray for specific persons who were apparently being targeted by the enemy. I got up and prayed for each one of them until I had peace about each one, and then each time I made a phone call the following day to make sure that all was well. When the Lord calls us to get up and pray for someone, we must do it without hesitation, for we never know what is being plotted or planned for that brother or sister. If we do not get up to pray when He calls us to do so, and something happens to them, their blood can be on our hands, for in these dark and violent times we are living in, that call could be a life or death issue. Only God knows that, so we must keep all of our trust in Him, and be obedient to His every call.

This past week I received an email from Mylinda telling me that a man I was connected to in some way was not to be trusted. The Lord told Mylinda that He was likening this man to a "man of God" whom, with two of his friends, betrayed me and Fair Havens Missions more than ten years ago. I thanked Mylinda and immediately went to the Lord to find out who it was and what I was to do. The moment that I began to press in to the Lord, He showed me that once again it was a "man of God" whom I had just begun to network with.  He reminded me that He had just the day before pointed out to me some things that this man had written about me, however when I read it I simply asked the Lord to help me to guard my heart, forgave him and put it out of my mind.

The Lord showed me that this man had already begun the process of betraying me, just as I had been betrayed before. He gave me no peace until I completely severed that connection the following day. I thank God that when we truly abide in Him, trusting Him as our covering, trusting Him for our protection, we can rest knowing that He never slumbers or sleeps, but is constantly watching over us and all that pertains to us.

 I thank God for Mylinda’s obedience in contacting me right away to share with me what the Lord had just told her.The Lord is saying that we must begin to examine our alliances and know those we are networking with in ministry. We must make sure that He gives us the o.k. on each one we take in to our confidence. He said, "If you have any doubts at all about whom you can trust, ask Me and I will tell you!"

This is a time of separation! The Lord is moving with a vengeance against ungodliness, spiritual pride, religious hypocrisy, idolatry and those who peddle the Word of God for profit. He said that many are giving Him lip service, but their hearts are far from Him. At the same time He is regrouping His people who have like callings and reassignments for His purposes. There will be more scandals surfacing in the Church with a lot more sin exposed. The Lord said that we must not be upset with Him as all of this comes to light, for He has warned and warned, through many of His servants, the prophets, but few have listened. Many have spoken against those who were sent to call the congregations to repentance.

Mary Peterson wrote to me to share a dream that she had recently about a Civil War re-enactment. Twice the Lord confirmed for her that the dream was from Him. As the Lord gave her revelation concerning the dream, she saw that there is a division coming in the Body of Messiah as a result of the exposure of secret sins in the lives of pastors and in a number of ministries. The Lord said that believers will take sides, causing it to look like a "civil war". Mary said, "Thank God that He reveals these things ahead of time that we might pray and prepare." Amen, Mary!

These are serious times, and the Lord is sending fire (a spirit of burning) upon the Church. It will be thoroughly cleansed of all sin. We will then see great fear and a holy reverence of the Lord like none of us have ever witnessed before. Then a great harvest!

Let Us Consider the True Prophet of God!

True prophets of the Lord know what loneliness is all about. They march to another drummer and live in "splendid isolation". They hide with God in the secret place, and then He sends them out to set up that which is upset, and to call in to line those who are out of line. As a seer they are sent to lead the blind. They have no price tags, and will not compromise. Their heart is like a volcano, and their words are as fire. They announce, pronounce and denounce, and are often controversial! They talk with people about the One True God!

They are usually unpopular because they oppose the popular in morality and spirituality, and because they share some of theforeknowledge of God, they are aware of impending judgment. Often times their message is "Repent and be reconciled to God or else …"The true prophets of God are often considered to be too severely committed, too negative and unsociable. They are ordained by God, but all too often disdained by man. Seldom are they ever named "Man or Woman of the Year!"

If we will all open our eyes and ears, and deal with the reality that our nation is headed for destruction if there is not soon repentance, we will all begin to cry out in unison for the Lord to send forth His true prophets to the Church, to our Government and to the masses. We must welcome the true prophets of God and embrace the ‘spirit of burning’ that is coming. We’ve come to the place now in both the Church and the Nation that judgment is the only answer. The Lord said there is no other way! All of us must decide for Him and His ways, or against Him and His ways. This is the hour of decision!

David Silver recently said, "For several years now many of us in the Church have been singing the popular song, "Days of Elijah!" However, the Lord is asking if we are walking the path of Elijah. Are we truly declaring the Word of the Lord? The Word of the Lord is sharp like a two edged sword, and has the power to cut away the dross. As End Time warrior soldiers of Adonai Tzevaot, the Lord of the Armies, we must not step back from that warrior calling, but rather stand our ground, or I should say stand the Lord’s ground."

Keith Ellison, Democrat from Minnesota, the first Muslim to be elected to the United States Congress, has announced that he will not take his oath of office on the Bible, but will take his oath of office on the ible of Islam, the Quran.

Repent of Political Idolatry!
 

Andrew Strom writes: "Something I find a little distressing in America is that the Christians are so often relying on 'politics' to accomplish 'spiritual' results. Thus they ally themselves fervently with one particular party and treat it like "God has won" if that party is the winner, and "God has lost" if it doesn’t. I almost see this as a kind of 'blindness'.

"The fact is that most of America’s problems today are 'spiritual' problems that can only be solved by a sweeping move of God’s Spirit. Yet, we are relying on Politics and Politicians to accomplish many of these things. How bizarre! "How bizarre that we strive and strive to get the "right (worldly) guy" elected. How bizarre that we treat the President like some kind of a mega-preacher or mega-minister. We put our "hope" in him, and his political party, for all kinds of *spiritual* things! What is wrong with us?

"I don’t know of any other country where the Christians put such hope in worldly political parties for things that only God can do."  Is this not a kind of 'idolatry'? "Yes, there are issues of righteousness to be concerned with, and it is good to vote. But what is this 'obsession' with Politics amongst the Christians? Do we not realize that it is a kind of "phony war"? "Imagine if we spent all that time 'praying' instead of 'striving' for Political victory. We might be actually having a revival right now!" "Can Politics make America truly righteous? 'NO'! Only God can do that!"

Note: I do not always agree with Andrew Strom, but he makes several points here that the Lord has spoken to me about, and from the letters I have received, I can tell you that He has been speaking to many believers about some of this. Let’s all take this letter to prayer and ask the Lord to show us what is of Him and what is not. He will surely tell us!
 

They Have Profaned My Name!

Kim Daniels recently sent this word: "I AM bringing judgment upon the right side for they have ridden on My favor for too long with broken promises. One by one they have claimed My Name and stood with Me before the people and then bowed to the Baals of the land behind the scenes, even My chosen and elect. I AM the Lord thy God that will bring one man down and put another up, even My elect.

"Be steadfast and consistent in your confessions, thoughts and deeds for judgment is beginning with those who call on My Name. Those who have not honored their covenants with Me will no longer prostitute My favor under the covering of their broken covenants.

 "When I look down on My people, because of the foulness of their flesh, if it were not for the blood, I could not stand their appearance or put up with their smell. It is the aroma of brokenness and repentance that draws me near, and causes My blood to be a shield to that which provokes My wrath. The pride of Political Parties that fuel their engines with arrogance to drive them in an attempt to run a nation without Me is being judged and leaving them uncovered. I say they are uncovered and My wrath shall be like a missile with a searching detector to search out the things that they do in the dark to blow them up before the world. Before the world, I say! They shall fall from their high places and positions and hit rock bottom before the world."

Politically Correct Suicide

Brigitte Gabriel writes: "political correctness" was created to discourage bias and prejudiced thinking that discriminates against an individual or a group. It has become society’s way of not offending anyone, whether it is an individual, a group, or a nation. In many instances, however, it is a simple, disarming way of ignoring or deflecting the truth about a situation. Today, the use of political correctness has become so abused that anyone who voices his or her opinion contrary to ‘politically correct think" is immediately tagged with some form of disparaging label, such as racist or bigot. This exploitation has gone so far out of control that this name-calling accusation is used as a simple and mindless means to manipulate academic, social or political discussion. The result is a social paranoia which discourages free thought and expression. It’s like living in a totalitarian state in which you are afraid to say what you think. Now who wants to suffer that? So, people keep quiet! Their opinions are held captive to fear. How handy for the Islamic-terrorists!" She went on to say, "Political correctness is killing us!"

This dear sister lost her childhood to militant Islam. She was only ten years old and living in South Lebanon when Muslims from throughout the Middle East poured in to her country and declared jihad against the Lebanese Christians. For seven years she and her parents lived in an underground bomb shelter, with no running water or electricity and very little food. At times they boiled grass in order to survive. Her testimony of life under Islam is so powerful! God has anointed her to stand and speak on behalf of Israel and to warn America to wake up before it is too late.

Wafa Sultan, a native of Syria, is one of the most outspoken critics to emerge from the Muslim world in recent years. She writes: "President Bush is undermining criticism vital to the survival of Western civilization and empowering terrorist leaders by proclaiming Islam a "religion of peace". She said that she realizes that he is trying to be diplomatic, but insists, nevertheless, that his words are "empowering" Muslim leaders whose ultimate aim is for Islamic law to govern the world. She said, "I believe that he undermines our credibility every time he says that. I came from Islam and I know what kind of religion Islam is."

Wafa has urged President Bush to take a closer look at Islamic culture and its general embrace of violence as a means of establishment and expansion. She said, "Facts are very stubborn things. Facts are facts. If you are not familiar with Islamic culture, how can you claim Islam is a peaceful religion?" President Bush has refused to respond to her question.

This dear one also has an awesome testimony. She was a medical student at the University of Aleppo in Syria and witnessed the murder of a teacher by members of the Muslim Brotherhood. They filled his body with bullets while screaming, "Allah is great!" She was so traumatized that she began to question the kind of god she worshipped. She said that Islam is a very painful chapter in her life, and left ugly scars on her heart. She said, "We need to find an effective way to deal with Islam, but it must be done based on truth and honesty, not the way that it has been done, for it has not been based on truth."

Both of these women receive death threats by the score. Nevertheless, they boldly stand with Israel and the Jewish people, and they are sounding the alarm here in America. I share all of this with you so you will pray for these two women and their families.Brigitte has just published her story. The name of her book is: "Because They Hate". I know this sister personally and recommend that you read the book and pass it along to others. Last but not least pray that we will see an end to the abuse of "political correctness" here in America before it destroys us, our families, and our way of life.

Judy Gilliland, who is based in Jerusalem, is home visiting with her family in Hopkinsville, KY until December 31st . Judy’s Dad has been quite ill and has had chemo treatments. Please pray for him, and pray that the entire family will have a blessed time together while Judy is home. In Jerusalem, Judy serves the Lord at the French Hospital.

Marion Shin, Jan Wilker and I will be going to Jerusalem in January as delegates to the International Prayer Conference. Please pray for us, and for all the others God is calling in to the Land at that time. We will pray in the city the first week, then tour the borders to pray the second week. Devorah Vegoda will be traveling to Tel Aviv on mission in January and Pastor Sadie Connor will be traveling to Jamaica on mission in February. Please join us in laying a solid foundation of prayer under all of these missions.
