Greetings!

 

I pray that this newsletter finds you all well and rejoicing in the goodness of our Lord, despite the destructive fires, floods, hurricane type winds and even hail that is plaguing our country right now.  There is a battle that is raging for the soul of our nation and the dear Lord is desperately trying to awaken, cleanse and purify both the Church and our Nation, and remove the evil. 

 

He recently spoke to me and said, “Tell My people that it is not about “global warming” but it is about “God’s Warning!”  He said to remind everyone that He is the One who sits on the Throne, not “Mother Nature” and not  Mother Earth, as so many proclaim.  I don’t know how many of you are aware that many hotels on the West Coast are removing Gideon Bibles and replacing them with Al Gore’s book on “global warming!”  How sick!

 

I can recall in 1998 when I was sitting on an airplane returning from Israel and the Lord spoke to me concerning America, and the Church in America.  He said, “Myrna, America is unclean! Her only answer is Yeshua! Because of the concerts of prayer and fasting that have risen before Me as a sweet incense, I AM coming to America, but I AM not coming the way they think I AM coming! I AM coming as refiners fire and fullers soap! As I do that, I will require of My people that they walk in a spirit of repentance, fast when I call them to fast and pray.  I will need prevailing prayer that will send forth across the nation the grace and mercy needed to cause multitudes to come in to My Kingdom.”  

 

In 2004, while speaking in a congregation in Tennessee, I began to shout, “FIRE!”  Then the Lord said to tell the people, “I AM bringing fire in to the Church!  I AM bringing fire in to the Government! I AM bringing fire in to the schools and universities! I AM bringing fire in to the streets of America! I AM bringing fire to purify, purify, purify!”  He went on to say, “I AM drawing the enemy out! I AM exposing!”

 

Just a couple of months later, as I was preparing to leave Washington, DC, the Lord said,   “Daughter, your nation has turned the corner.  Your nation has chosen their own way, and they will experience much sorrow over their choices, for the testimony of your country is not Holy, or as a Light of Truth to the nations. I AM not the true God of corporate America! They have made themselves as gods, and as free thinkers, even their own light. To them, truth is whatever they think it should be, however My Word does not change!

 

“Much confusion, upheaval and chaos will be seen in your nation, and you will see men come to the brink of their delusions. The repercussions will be costly. There is no clear standard of Truth visible in your land, as the Church has not risen up to stand or seek Me on behalf of your land. Their only concern is for their comfort and their pleasures, but that is about to change! The comforts and pleasures will not satisfy anymore, nor will they be readily available as before. I AM confronting the materialism and apathy of My people.  

 

“I AM confronting the pride of man in America.  There will be no more glory or pleasure in this new season and new direction. It will be a sober time, and a time of searching. It will be as My Word says that men will run to and fro seeking for the Truth and not finding it, for they never wanted it or embraced it in the first place. They chose to disregard Me, and go after the pleasures of their hearts. Therefore I will give them what they want, but it will be devoid of Me.  Then we will see what they will do when they come face to face with Me.

 

“Buildings and businesses will burn all across your nation as I begin to bring discipline and great destruction to rid America of her sins, which are many. I detest her pride, arrogance and greed.

 

“As all of this begins to happen, you must prophesy when I tell you to prophesy!  I AM on My Throne, and I will not allow Satan to be blamed. It is all coming from MY hand! I am the One causing the chaos! I AM the One sending the fire! I am the One bringing discipline and great destruction to America! You must tell them it is from Me!”  

 

I have always tried to be faithful in proclaiming His Truths, everywhere He sends me, even in the midst of great opposition. I do not want anyone’s blood upon my hands!

 

You know, regardless of how dark the days are, and how violent the times, the dear Lord does have a Remnant. They are those whom He has called to come apart, sit at His feet to learn of Him and His ways.  These are trailblazers who have been carrying forth His Holy Word, His Truth and Love to those who are growing faint because of all of the destruction going on round about them.

 

Upon His Remnant He is beginning to place great favor, and He is opening many doors for them, saying, “When I open the door, you must walk through quickly! Time is short and there is much to be done! However, only go where I tell you to go, and only speak what I give you to speak!” 

 

Those who make up His Remnant are those who have been praying and weeping over the Church and over our nation, because of the evil they see in the midst of both. They have prayed and wept while all others were laughing and having a great time.  Even though this Remnant is very much a part of the Body of Christ, they have never felt as though they belonged anywhere.  You see God’s hand has been heavy upon them, and He has placed such a hunger within them to know Him in a much deeper way. He has caused them to want more and more of Him.

 

I might add that they have received very little encouragement as they have yielded themselves to Him completely, but they have received lots of criticism.  Many have called them “lone rangers” not understanding that God calls some to come apart and stay at His feet to learn from Him. They simply do not understand what God is doing in their lives. Through all of the criticism though, the Remnant is forced to die to self, and that is a good thing. We must die to self! We must decrease so that He can increase! It is all about complete surrender! It is all about elevating Him and advancing His Kingdom. 

 

Those who make up His Remnant have been made to drink from His cup of suffering. They have felt His depth of suffering within their own heart.  He said, “I have chosen them in the furnace of affliction! They will fearlessly carry My Truth and Love to a dying world.  Because they have been willing and obedient to face the pain and suffering for My Name’s sake, these trailblazers will walk in My ways, and carry My judgments to the nations. My judgments will speak life to a dying world that is in utter chaos and travail.”

 

The Lord has gone on to say that His trailblazers must know that He calls them “friend.”  He is leading them now to enter in to their End Time calling.  He had to call them apart and raise them up out of the wilderness, for most of the Church is full of the world.  Only through complete separation could He set them free of the worldly ways of the Church, traditions, and all of the false teaching that is running rampant in the Church.

 

 He and He alone has imparted to them all that they need to know in order to move in to their End Time place within His Body.  As He begins to call them forth from the wilderness, to send them forth in His Name, they must know that they are well prepared.  They have been made ready by the hand of Almighty God.

Washington, DC – May 3^rd I arrived in the capital in time to participate in the National Day of Prayer services.  Thank God the weather was very co-operative!  As we gathered together on the steps of the Supreme Court Building, William Murray of the Religious Freedom Coalition led us in prayer.  We prayed for our national leadership and covered many of the important issues coming up before the House and Senate.  We prayed for our troops and their families and then President Bush shared, once again, making no mention of our Lord.

 

May 4^th many of us gathered together at the Israeli Embassy for the annual solidarity gathering of both Jews and Christians. We met the new Israeli Ambassador to the US, who is a very mild mannered gentleman, but full of wisdom. I liked him a lot and believe that if we will faithfully pray for this dear man, the Lord will strengthen him in that position.  It is heartbreaking, because those at the Israeli Embassy in Washington are terribly intimidated by the White House, and that ought not be.   

 

Just as our meeting began, a Jewish man I had never seen before came in and sat down right in front of me. It must have been the first time He had been in a meeting where Christians and Jews were gathered together. He seemed surprised that we all sang both National Anthems, and as we were singing “Our God Reigns” he kept looking at all of us who had our hands raised in worship, and then suddenly it was as though someone put their hands under both of his elbows and lifted both of his arms up at the same time. He quickly looked at each raised arm and then put them down as quickly as they had been lifted up.  I was blessed because it was obvious that someone unseen had lifted his arms for him.  God poured out a blessing upon all of us as we came together as one.   

 

New York – May 9^th through the 13^th at Beaver Hollow Conference and Leadership Center in Upstate New York many of us who are called to work in the Aliyah gathered together for a retreat. It was a blessed time of worship, prayer, brainstorming and sweet, sweet fellowship. God really poured out blessings upon every one of us.

 

God Bless Our Troops!

 

As the Lord is taking me deeper and deeper in to the apostolic, I have to travel much more than before.  As I travel, especially by airplane, I see many of our troops coming and going.  No matter where they are, I always walk up to them and thank them for all they do for all of us. Each time the reaction is a bit different.  Often times I see tears well up in their eyes, or they smile and thank me for my thoughtfulness. Some seem shocked that anyone would say thank you.

 

As I left the Memphis Airport to fly in to Atlanta, a whole company of soldiers boarded the plane who were on their way to Iraq.  Three sat down in the seats directly behind me. I heard one say, “It just tears me up to have to leave the kids like this!” The second one said, “I just can’t look back!”  These two men were broken, and the third one was on his way back to Iraq for his fourth tour of duty there. He was extremely quiet.  It broke my heart just listening to them.

 

On a plane from Jacksonville to Atlanta, there were a number of soldiers on that flight and the stewardess welcomed them aboard and said they were all on their way to Iraq. Immediately everyone on the plane began to applaud them. Then, flying from New York to Atlanta, there were seven soldiers aboard, and as we landed in Atlanta, the stewardess asked all of us to remain seated until the soldiers deplaned, for their families were all gathered together at the gate waiting for them. As they began to leave the plane, once again, everyone aboard began to applaud them and even cheer them. It just blessed my heart.

 

These men and women, and their families as well, are literally laying down their lives for all of us. Let’s remember to pray for them each day, and thank them when we have the opportunity to do so.

New Age Festival – “It was amazing! I have never seen the power of God’s salvation to be manifested here in Israel in such a way. I have read the Book of Acts, I have heard reports from around the world, and I have witnessed the growth of the Body in other countries, but to see it with my own eyes, God touching many young Israelis within the span of three days … WOW! And glory to God, it was all His doing! GRACE! Altogether about thirty Israelis repented, and many more heard the Gospel and were prayed for. May they all be brought to the point of decision to follow Yeshua!”     D. & J.

A Dream I Would Like To Share 

 

The dream first came some 25 years ago, unbidden, but certainly not unwelcome. It has woven into the fabric of my being, part of the definition of who I am.  It is still welcome, still mysterious. Its power is in the passion it ignites in my soul.

 

Shadows are deep. Night is wrestling strength from day. My long legs are striding, fully extended with each step. Moving urgently through the field, I go straight ahead toward the dimming glow of twilight. The sun has set. How much time remains?

 

All I see is the field of plants stretching to the glimmering backdrop of the western sky.  And the fruit! The fruit gleams white under short dark leafy plants. 

 

Somehow I know that a team of young people is following me, watching for my direction. I point with both hands, arms swinging left and right, moving as quickly as my legs, calling “that one, that one!”

 

The strength to walk, see, point, and speak is mine. Theirs is to bend, gather, and carry the precious treasure. The fruit is easy for me to see, as if illuminated by an inner light. They have the strength of youth, but mine is the clear focus of vision. Together we are gathering the harvest.

 

I don’t look back because I know it’s dark. When the black curtain falls complete, will the workers gather in the hut noticed from the corner of my eye? I hear the old way was to build a small hut in the field. The workers slept there. Time was too precious to spend in traveling to the comfort of the familiar beds of home. Where was home? It seemed every place I’d called home had been destroyed, ravaged by the enemy.

 

My training was severe, but thorough. Many times I thought I would succumb to despair. It was clear to me now. Home is out there, beyond the harvest field. The sooner we can get the harvest in, the sooner I’ll be home.

 

Home is a place I’ve read about, had glimpses of, visited for rare intervals of bliss. I long for home, but to go without gathering the harvest is unthinkable.  It wouldn’t be the same. I couldn’t bear the disappointment of Father. No, once I get there, I can stay forever. And I can bring as many with me as are willing to go. In my Father’s house are many mansions.

Gideons International – In Florida three members of Gideon International were arrested for passing out Bibles on a public sidewalk in Key Largo. The officer who arrested them said, “Now you can pray to Jesus all the way to jail.”   

Dearborn, Michigan – Muslim groups are buying up church buildings left and right in Dearborn and converting them in to mosques.     

 

Kansas City – The Kansas City International Airport has added several foot-washing basins in restrooms to accommodate a growing number of Muslim taxicab drivers who requested the facilities to prepare for daily Islamic prayer.

 

Minneapolis, Minnesota – Cultural clashes have recently made headlines in Minnesota. Muslim cab drivers refuse to transport passengers carrying alcohol; at Target stores, some Muslim cashiers will not scan pork products; and in Minneapolis Community and Technical College they are promoting Islamic practices and prohibiting Christian traditions.

 

Virginia Tech Convocation – An Imam prayed in the name of Allah, and other speakers invoked Buddha and Dalai Lama, however, the Name of the Lord was never mentioned. 

 

Dallas, Texas – The controversial imam from the Dallas Central Mosque opened both the house and senate reading from the Quran and praying and wailing in the name of Allah, excluding both Christians and Jews. They bused Muslims in to the chambers from all over Dallas.

 

Bailey’s Crossroads, Virginia – Right across the Potomac from the office of Homeland Security Chief Chertoff is the second largest concentration of Muslims in this country. It is the heart of the Wahhabi corridor and has the mosque where the hijackers stayed and radicals plotted to kill American soldiers after 911 and praised the space shuttle Columbia disaster as a “good omen” for Islam.

 

Democratic National Committee – At their winter meeting they were led in prayer by a Muslim imam who asked Allah to assist in converting the party members to Islam, and stop the war.

 

Miami, Florida A religious leader who calls himself the “Antichrist” cancelled a visit to Guatemala after the Central American country barred him as a security risk. Guatemala’s Congress has labeled him a terrorists and immigration officials were ordered to refuse him entry in to the country.

 

Note: I can’t help but wonder if any of these people have any idea what is released in to the spiritual realm over this country every time these people speak, pray and wail in the name of their false gods? Is it any wonder that in the United Nations we are known as the second largest pagan nation?  Yet, people like New York Governor Eliot Spitzer refused to sign a proclamation supporting our observance of the National Day of Prayer.  Also, a Presidential Proclamation in honor of the 400^th anniversary of the founding of Jamestown, Virginia, whose settlers came here for the purpose of furthering the Christian faith, never made any reference to God or Christianity.   The Ambassador we have just chosen to represent our best interest in the United States is Zalmay Khalilzad.  We could not even appoint an ambassador who serves the same God we serve.  Lord, have mercy!!!   

Jerusalem Day 2007 Boycotted by the US and the UN

 

President Bush said that he would not take part in the 40^th celebration of the reunification of Jerusalem. He said that he would join the EU in boycotting Jerusalem being recognized as the capital of the Jewish State because Israel is occupying East Jerusalem. 

 

Malcolm Hedding, Executive Director of the International Christian Embassy in Jerusalem said, “The Jewish restoration to Jerusalem in modern times is one of the clearest cases of historic justice ever, whereby a people longing to return to a land and a holy city from which they were violently uprooted millennia ago, finally realized their sustaining dream.  Yet due to Arab pressures and threats, the Jewish return to Jerusalem has been perversely turned in to an immoral act.” 

 

Malcom Hedding went on to say, “Jerusalem remains a ‘burdensome stone’ among the nations, as borne out by the decision of much of the international community including the United States, who professes to be an ally of Israel,  to boycott this year’s Jerusalem Day observances.”

 

The Mayor Lupolianski said, “Whoever does not recognize Jerusalem as the capital of the State of Israel does not recognize the State of Israel.”  

 

The community of Sderot has been under extreme rocket attack and much damage has been done. Schools have been closed, power disrupted over much of that area, a four story building has been hit, and there are eighteen shock victims. They have had to evacuate 4,000 residents. Mayor Eli Moyal said, “This has caused something to snap among the residents.  Something dramatic happened last night, I felt it in the air. People could not sleep, in fact, they almost cracked. I saw anger in them.  They can’t take any more.”

 

In spite of all this, President Bush forbid any IDF ground incursion in to Gaza to stop the Kassams, and he has also ordered additional checkpoint openings.

Missions – Please pray for Janet Wilker as she goes in to the Ukraine from June 24^th through July 24^th.  Also Madelyn Maine as she goes in to Indonesia from May 16^th through the 29^th.  Let us pray for travel mercies, and for their protection. Also that God’s plan and purposes for their being in those countries be accomplished.
