“On the day of Pentecost, seven weeks after Yeshua’s resurrection, the believers were meeting together in one place. Suddenly, there was a sound from Heaven like the roaring of a mighty windstorm in the skies above them, and it filled the house where they were meeting. Then, what looked like flames or tongues of fire appeared and settled on each of them. And everyone present was filled with the Holy Spirit, and began speaking in other languages, as the Holy Spirit gave them this ability.” (Acts 2:1-4) NLB

Brothers and sisters, the Feast of Pentecost was fulfilled many, many years ago. Today, centuries later, the blessed Holy Spirit continues to work within our hearts to lead, guide, protect, teach, and bless. He still saves the lost, heals the sick, and brings deliverance to those who are bound. Is it any wonder we celebrate Shavuot (Feast of Pentecost)?

Shavuot is the Biblical birthday of the Nation of Israel. Pentecost is the birthday of the Church. As Peter stood to his feet and preached under the anointing of the Holy Spirit, three thousand people joined that small group of Jewish believers, and under the anointing of the Holy Spirit, they went out, even to the gentiles, and turned the world right side up in the Name of Yeshua. Is it any wonder that we count off the 50 days from Yeshua’s resurrection to Pentecost with expectancy? Many of us long for a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit as prophesied by the prophet Joel.

Have you ever wondered why the Church does not celebrate Pentecost? Have you ever wondered why the Church is so dead? It is because they have shunned the Holy Spirit, who gives life to the Word of God, and power to heal the sick and set the captives free. They have often shunned the very ones the Lord has sent to minister under the anointing of the Holy Spirit. You know, the Lord Himself has set this time for us to celebrate forever, all that He has done, and all that He has given. We have so much to be thankful for, and so much to celebrate during the Feast of Pentecost.

Many of us have been counting off the days till the Feast of Pentecost, waiting before the Lord, and He has not been disappointing us. He has been sharing both good news and bad news with us. He said that He has been waiting and waiting on His Church to come to Him in repentance, so that He Himself can draw them in to that secret place with Him. In to that holy place! He said that too many are refusing to acknowledge their sins of pride, arrogance, control, jealousy, greed, betrayal, anger, bitterness, etc. They hold tight to the traditions of man, work on their own agendas and build their own kingdoms, yet they try to claim the protection of the Blood of Yeshua. Until there is repentance from all of this, we simply cannot come in to the place to which He is calling us. He is calling us in to a holy place!

In just a matter of weeks, we as a nation are suddenly going to begin to sink deeper and deeper in to darkness. This is why He is hovering over so many of us, actually wooing us, trying to show us that we must begin to walk in repentance now, and come in to that secret place with Him, if we expect to walk in the protection of the blood of Yeshua, and the blessings of God, through the turbulent times we are preparing to move in to now. If we come to Him in humility, and with repentant hearts, He Himself will cleanse us, prepare us, and show us how to ride out the turbulence coming upon our nation.

If we seek first His Kingdom, help those who are widows and orphans, and bless His servants, who wait upon the Lord day and night to hear His voice, everything that we need He will provide for us. So it is time for all of us to make a decision. Do we let it all go, so that we can move in to that secret place with Him, in to that holy place, or are we going to be left out and unprotected? The choice is ours, and time is very short! Let me share with you a Word from the Lord that Steve Grable received just this morning.

“Beware America, Our time is at Hand!”

“Violence, destruction, fire, lawlessness, great loss, disease, filth, hunger, and want is coming upon us. It is all coming because of our false gods, too numerous to count, because of our lukewarmness to the One true God, because of our treatment of Israel, because of the spilling of innocent blood, because of sexual promiscuity, because of our pride over every small thing, because our greed is ever present, and because we have perfected corruption on every level of society, and exported it to every nation upon the Earth. We have sowed the seeds of bitterness and hatred to the nations, and from those seeds have sprung up a whirlwind that one day soon will sweep this nation in to utter chaos.

“America will become a laughing stock, a non-player on the stage of world events. Some will mourn, but most will cheer, applaud, and rejoice that America has been reduced to the status of a Third World Country. But, in the midst of affliction, there is great blessing!

“As a result of seeing our sin, repentance will break forth like a great dam, whose waters had been held back. But now, suddenly, the tears of sorrow, sincere sorrow for our sin, and not our loss of comfort, will ascend up to the Throne of a Holy God! And He will hear our petitions and forgive our sins. Then, the “Fire of Revival” will spread throughout America, and around the globe. Millions will be touched by Him who sits upon the Throne. Even the youngest of believers will heal the sick, and raise the dead, so that no man may find an opportunity to boast.

“It will be dangerous times, and true believers will know one another by their fruits. On many occasions, when meeting a stranger, one will give a verse, and the other will finish the verse. All types of miraculous events will occur. When there is little food, the people will pray, and the food will be multiplied. (Economically it will remain a disaster, and scarcity of basic needs will be the norm), but God’s Spirit will be present, and will shine forth with great joy in the midst of it all. Divine meetings will take place with angels, and will almost be a common occurrence. Many will be translated by the power of the Holy Spirit, from one location to another, in order to fulfill God’s purposes.”

Note: Steve said, “It is not my desire to suffer, or to see others suffer through all that is about to come upon us. Like all of you, I enjoy the prosperity that our country is seemingly experiencing, but we have offended a Holy God, and He cannot sit idly by, and not judge America. Like many of you, I, too, am “lukewarm” toward the Lord, more often than not, but in the days ahead all of that will change, for we are about to step in to an era unlike anything we have known. How will we deal with what lies before us, if we are struggling now?” Blessings, Steve

“Let Not Your Heart Be Troubled!”
(John 14-15)

As Yeshua was trying to explain to His disciples that He was going to leave them, their hearts were truly troubled. They just couldn’t seem to understand what He was telling them. They were so used to being with Him, day in and day out, for more than three years, that they probably couldn’t envision daily life without Him.

Peter asked Him where He was going. The Lord told him that where He was going, they could not go now, but they would go later on. Thomas asked Him where He was going, and how they would know the way. To which Yeshua answered, “I AM the way, the truth, and the life. No man comes to the Father but through Me!”

He told them that He was going to prepare a place for them, and then He would return for them. He explained to them that in the Father’s House are many mansions, and when He returned for them, He Himself would take them there.

This is one of the most important passages in the Scriptures. In light of all of the deceptive teaching out there today, telling us that all roads lead to Heaven, or there is “divine election” for the Jews, the Lord Himself tells us that He and He alone is the only way to the Father. The only way to Heaven is through the shed blood of Yeshua!

Our hearts need not be troubled if we are in Him, and His Spirit dwells within us. He has everything under control! He is still on the Throne! He still rules the kingdoms of men! When things happen, it is because He has allowed them to happen, and when He allows things to happen, it is because He has a good purpose. Praise His Name, He has prepared the way to eternal life for us, if we are willing to believe ands trust in Him, no matter what is happening all around us. He said, “You trust in God, trust also in Me!”

I marvel at the patience and love of Yeshua, as He repeatedly tried to make His disciples understand what was going to happen to Him. He knew that the next day, when they saw Him hanging on the tree (cross), their hearts would be troubled. They would be crushed! They had given up everything to follow Him, thinking that He was going to set up His Kingdom. He tried to prepare them for what was coming, for He knew that when they saw Him on that tree, their hopes would all be dashed, and their hearts would be broken. Therefore, He told them that when He left them, He would send a helper to them.

He promised them that when the helper, the Holy Spirit, (Ruach Ha Kodesh) would come, it would be of great advantage to each one of them. The Holy Spirit would teach them all things, and even remind them of the things He had taught them, while He was with them. The Holy Spirit would make His Words come alive!

He told them, “Peace I leave with you!” He was speaking of the peace that comes from relationship with the Father, and committing all of our difficult circumstances to the Father. Turmoil, distress, and anxiety will come from focusing on the problems at hand. We cannot ignore all that is happening round about us, but if we stay focused on Yeshua, we will have peace. The peace of Almighty God! It is written: “I will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Me!” Hallelujah!

Once again, Yeshua told them not to be afraid, or allow their hearts to be troubled. He told them they should not worry about tomorrow! He told them not to worry about what to eat, or what they should wear! He told them that their security was in Him! Then He gave them His Name to use saying, “Whatever you ask the Father in My Name, He will give it to you. Ask and you will receive that your joy may be full.”

He assured them of His love for them, He said, “As the Father has loved Me, I also have loved you; continue in My love. If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love; just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love.”

Yeshua was speaking of a love that exceeds all other love. Love that is patient and kind! Self-sacrificing love! “Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.” He said, “These things I command you, that you love one another!”

He went on to share with them, that He was telling them these things that “His joy might remain in them, and their joy might be full!” Joy that is borne out of our prayer life, and our fellowship with Him, and with our brothers and sisters in the faith. “The joy of the Lord is our strength!”

I believe with all of my heart, that this is a word for all of us today. As we see all of the nations, including our own, sinking deeper and deeper in to darkness, we must not allow our hearts to be troubled. We must remember that He has everything under His control! He knows exactly what it will take to turn hearts toward Himself. We must remember, too, that He will keep us in perfect peace, if we stay focused on Him. Father (Abba) loves us dearly, and He will take care of us, if we are truly in Him, and His Spirit dwells within us.

Yes, the days grow darker, sin and violence run rampant, extremely difficult times are coming, and horrible persecution is at the door. However, we do not have to be concerned about those who hate us, oppose us, or persecute us, because we are His. If we will just walk in humility, walk in a spirit of repentance, and obedience to His commands, He Himself will deal with those who are coming against us. He will take care of us and provide for us! We cannot allow them to distract us! We must release them to Him, guarding our own hearts, and go on with Him, to do what He is calling us to do.

A mighty harvest is being prepared, brothers and sisters. Time is very short! He is doing a quick work! We must allow Him to prepare us to be a clean vessel that He can release His peace, love, and joy through, in the midst of a dark and dying world. We must let our light shine brightly in the darkness, and be the salt and light that He has called us to be. And, by all means, we must allow Him to work through us to bring in the harvest before it spoils.

Yeshua said, “You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain”… We must truly know Him, and make Him known!

I feel a real need to tell all of you to devour the Word of God. Allow it to saturate your whole being. Allow Him to open the Scriptures to you, and show you His truths. So much of what we have been taught in the past has not been truth. Worship Him as you’ve never worshiped Him before. May I suggest that you all read and reread Psalm 112, in light of all that we have shared thus far in this newsletter.

Prophetic Declaration of God’s Imminent Judgment
of the United States of America

“I am aware - right now – that our Holy God is garmenting Himself in a cloak of vengeance and zeal. He is about to judge a nation. We stand on the verge of a holy act of God. Because God has given much, He requires much. The Lord has given much to this nation. God has honored this nation, but now He is going to humble this nation – from the head – down - before the other nations.

“The Lord has given peace to this nation, but now this nation will have war. The Lord has given abundance to this nation, but now it will have lack. The Lord has given liberty to this nation, but now it will have restriction and oppression. I tremble before the Lord, because He is standing up to judge!

“But the Lord knows those that trust Him, and those who have called upon Him. He is near to those who call upon Him, and call upon Him in truth. So draw nigh to the Lord and repent. Put away the evil and call upon Him while He may be found, for the hour has come.” Trevor Davis

Bureaucrats Target ‘Cowboy Church’
"Where Everybody is Somebody and Jesus Christ is Lord”

Bedford County, in Virginia, has recently cited a farmer, Garland Simmons, for hosting Thursday night worship services in his barn on a 900 acre farm. The Notice of Violation stated that his barn cannot be used for religious services because it isn’t zoned for such meetings, even though it sits in the middle of a very large field. The religious liberties law group has sent a demand letter to county officials on behalf of Raymond Bell, who pastors the Cowboy Church of Virginia. The letter asserts that Bedford County is violating the Religious Land Use and Institutionalized Persons Act, and the First Amendment. It requests the county immediately rescind the Notice of Violation, or face a possible federal lawsuit. Liberty Counsel’s Matthew Starver said, “Barns in Bedford County can be used for dancing, but not for reciting, Psalms, praise or worship”. He went on to say that Bedford County should immediately reverse its decision, because it is treading on unconstitutional ground. Let us all pray for the Cowboy Church!

Town Rejects National Day of Prayer Banner

Despite initial acceptance, a Michigan town rejected a street banner promoting the annual National Day of Prayer. An employee of Ludington, Michigan, took a $100.00 fee from the local National Day of Prayer organizers, and the check was cashed, but only a few days before the May 4th commemoration, the town refused to hang the banner. The group paid $350.00 for the sign, which was made after receiving an o.k. from the town of Ludington.

The banner read: “National Day of Prayer, First Thursday in May”. In the wake of the controversy, the town has enacted a new policy, making it clear that any banner must specify an event rather than state a cause. Also, the event must be of general interest to the community. Needless to say legal action is under way. Let us pray that justice be done here as well. This is the second time Ludington has done this to the National Day of Prayer organizers. The last time was in 2003. When the Lord said that these are days of confrontation, he was not kidding us. Let us pray, as the Lord leads, in to this situation as well.

Florida Teen’s Death Called “Gift from Allah”

Many of us have been praying for Daniel Wultz, a sixteen year old from Weston, Florida, who was critically wounded in the suicide bombing of an Israeli restaurant in Tel Aviv on April 17th. Daniel was on Passover vacation in Israel, along with his family. He and his father were seated at an outside table of the targeted restaurant when the bomb was detonated. Daniel lost his spleen, a kidney, one leg, and doctors were trying to save the other leg, as a result of the attack. He was lying in a coma, in intensive care, until the day he passed away. More than 60 others were wounded in this attack, and eleven died.

Abu Nasser, a leader of the Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, one of the groups responsible for the bombing, said, “We rejoice in this death! This is a gift from Allah! We wish this young dog will go directly with no transit to hell.” Abu Amin, a leader of the Islamic Jihad, the other group responsible for this bombing, called Daniel’s death a message from Allah to all non-believers. To all Americans he said, “Even if you live in the U.S. the hand of Allah, and the sword of the Jihad fighters, will reach you, and you will find the same end as Daniel Wultz.”

It is time for President Bush, Condi Rice, and the entire State Department to apply some eye salve, and then begin to deal with reality! Islam is not a peaceful religion, and has no intentions of becoming one. Our thoughts and prayers are with Daniel’s entire family. May the dear Lord comfort them in their loss.

Good News!

Recently I was sent a link to a brand new radio station on the air in Israel. When I clicked on the link, and the radio appeared on my screen, the first song I heard was, “Thank God for Calvary, and My Lord Who Was Crucified!” The second song was, “The Power of Love”. By this time I was weeping with joy.

I contacted our dear sister, Rachel Solomon, who was given the vision, and by the grace of God, was able to work to bring it to fulfillment. She told me that they are on the air five days a week, twelve hours per day, broadcasting in Hebrew, English, and Portugese. They hope to be on the air around the clock very soon. At the present time they are playing only Gospel music in all three languages, but the vision is to have talk shows live, and recorded in all three languages.

The Hebrew will be geared more toward evangelism, in a very challenging way, using the cultural Jewish context, and local speakers from the Body of Messiah in Israel. They will also bring news from worldwide to show the Israelis that not the whole world is against Israel, but that there are actually people standing with them in prayer and intercession.

The English and Portugese will be talking more about Israel, and God’s plan for the salvation of the Jewish people, as well as explaining the real news about Israel, dissolving the wrong ideas given by the world media, which will be a powerful tool for intercessors.

That is the vision of HADASHOT MI ISRAEL (News from Israel) in a nutshell. We need to cover this station, and every one who is connected to this station, in prayer. I was so blessed by what I heard, and I know that God will use this station mightily. You can be sure the station will become a target. Rachel is a journalist, and is financing this project from the money she makes in her business. You might want to write her to encourage her or even help her. Email: vozdeisrael@hotmail.com.
Short Term Missions

Let us continue to pray for Scott Holtz and his team on the way to Israel via Brussels on special assignment. Scott said, “Upon arriving in Brussels, our special forces unit went directly to the Palace of the King of Brussels, which is across the street from the US Embassy. The Holy Spirit’s directive was clear …”Sound the shofar that the harlot system be dismantled, that My people can be free to worship Me.” Scott went on to say that as they awkwardly stood in front of the King’s Royal Palace, in broad daylight, and began to sound the shofar, suddenly one of the young men in the unit recognized the Palace with its huge columns, as being the place he had previously seen in a vision. The vision had pertained to the shaking and overthrow, by God, of a harlot system His people have willingly embraced.

As the shofar continued to wail out its eerie sound of justice, Scott said, “Something took place before us that was so bang-on accurate prophetically. It was the changing of the military guard in their dress uniforms.” This was symbolic of the changing of the guard that is taking place within the Church today. Also, the changing of the way Church leadership will yield to worshipping the One and only True King.

Let us also pray for Marina Mikhalchenko, who is scheduled and ticketed to go to Israel as a volunteer with Holy Land Ministries June 11th through August 21st. Her trip is hinging on obtaining a tourist visa, which she needs because she is a Russian citizen. It is a question of having enough time and meeting the requirements. Pray that God Himself will work out all of the details for Marina.

Christine Sakakkibara left Israel May 28th for the UK on a speaking tour. She will return to Israel June 28th. Please keep her well covered in prayer.

Jan Wilker departs Canada June 8th, for three months of ministry in the Ukraine, and Tim Steuber leaves for Russia via Finland June 29th, returning to the US July 8th. Please keep both of these missions well covered in prayer.

Let us continue to lay a good foundation of prayer under Pastor Sadie’s upcoming missions to Jamaica and Panama. This team is strong in evangelism, and they are crying out for souls. Pray that God will prepare hearts in advance of their arrival in each place.

Please keep praying for the Christian Truck Drivers for they are now in 9 states and 14 cities, with 80 registered members. I believe the Lord has great plans for these men, who have stepped up to the plate at such a time as this. If you spend any amount of time on the road, you know the need for such a ministry.

Let us pray for Jone Pratt, who has just answered the Lord’s call to a radio ministry. If you live in Kentucky, you can catch her program on Life Changing Radio, WJMM 99.1 FM, One Station Under God, every Sunday morning at 10:45. I know you will be blessed! ….. We need to cover all of our brothers and sisters, as they step out of the four walls of the church buildings, in to new avenues of ministry.

I would appreciate your prayers as I travel throughout Pentecost weekend.

Shalom & Blessings, Myrna
