Shalom Y’all,

 

It is a beautiful day here in South Georgia, and I am thanking God for some time at home to spend with Him and to re-connect with all of you. I have spent the better part of the past two months traveling in ministry, so I welcome an opportunity to be at home resting in Him.  I’m also praising Abba for the work that I see Him doing in the earth today.  

 

At a time when He is telling many of us to prepare, for war is coming to the streets of  America, He is calling those who have been forerunners or trailblazers, to come apart with Him in quietness and rest, allowing Him to minister to us as we minister to Him. He wants to strengthen and refresh us for the journey ahead, and I must tell you that I seize every opportunity to do just that.  We must be prepared for all that is coming and the only way that He can truly prepare us now is from a place of rest in Him. 

 

It is time for all of us to stop our busyness and quiet down.  He is calling us to lean on Him, put our head on His breast and listen for His heart beat, for we must learn to hear His hear beat and then walk in that beat.  He has likened this call to a small child, lying with his head on his mother’s breast, perfectly contented, just listening for her heart beat. He said, “John did and John heard!” 

 

If we will listen to Him, He will give us clear direction. He will lead us and guide us in the way we are to go. We will know where to go in ministry and where not to go.  We will know who is true and who is not true.  He is saying, “Ask Me how you are to pray!” Some will repent and some will not. He alone has that knowledge. In this hour He does not want to waste His time or ours. Time is short and so many of His children still need to be prepared. He is working diligently to awaken them from their slumber, woo them and draw them unto Himself. 

 

If you feel Him drawing you, come out from among them and be separated unto Him for a season. He is trying to separate you from the confusing voices of man and their control, while at the same time help you to hear His still small voice and be able to recognize it so you will be able to follow Him closely in the days just ahead. The time for us all to be led by Him and Him alone is at our door, so know that when He calls you to come apart with Him, it is for your own preparation and protection.  

 

I am seeing Him stretch and build strength and strong faith in to those who will function as apostles, prophets and evangelists. He is teaching them to work together and flow together. He is repositioning many of them at this particular time. 

 

He said, “I AM sending many of you out as lambs among wolves. Be wise as a serpent and harmless as a dove. Listen for My still small voice! Lean on Me! You must decrease so that I can increase. Keep in mind that apart from Me you can do nothing!   I will lead you and guide you. My angels will go before you to show you the way! Together we will reap a great harvest. A harvest beyond anything you could ever have imagined.”
 

War will break out suddenly here.  It will take many people by surprise!  Our enemies are within. They have been given a seat of authority here. They have infiltrated every nook and cranny. Natural disasters will increase and times and seasons as we have known them will be no more. Fear will grip the hearts of the people when they see the devastation and destruction. There will be tremendous loss, and lawlessness will abound. The world’s systems will fall. People will riot in the streets looking for food and water. Soon neither Jew nor Arab will be safe here!  America, as we have known it, will be no more!      

 

Nevertheless, those who have come apart with Him, and have allowed Him to prepare them in advance, will radiate the glory of the Lord. He will enable them to do great exploits for Him. In the midst of all the judgments we will see His glory! The Nations will see His glory! Multitudes will come in to His Kingdom. Hallelujah! 

 

Brothers and sisters, if we want to claim the protection of Psalm 91 in the days just ahead, then we must be dwelling in the secret place of the Most High, abiding under His shadow, covered with His wings, and trusting Him for everything.  We cannot be running around doing our own thing, holding to the world and fleshly appetites, and expect Him to bless and protect us.  We must keep short accounts with Him, living and moving as He leads us.   

 

A Significant Meeting Between Muslims & Christians

 

On Monday, July 2^nd there was a meeting at the Egyptian Embassy in Washington, DC.  As everyone arrived at the Embassy they were greeted by Evangelist Benny Hinn, who introduced everyone to several other pastors, evangelists and Christian television producers.  Among them were Gordon Robertson of the 700 Club, Paul Crouch of Trinity Broadcasting, and Christian lobbyist Ralph Reed, Richard Cizik of the NEA and Vernon Brewer of World Help.

 

Soon the Ambassadors from Algeria, Morocco, Libya, Kuwait, Yemen, Iraq, Bahrain, and the Ambassador from the Arab League of Nations arrived. This was far more than a social gathering!  

 

Everyone sat down at a large table, evangelicals on one side, and Arab representatives on the other. Together they all had lunch. Then the Egyptian Ambassador said that they should all have an open discussion about what is necessary for bridges to be built between Islam and American Christians. Over the course of several hours a great deal of candid discussion took place.

 

One of the Arab Ambassadors mentioned that American Christians seemed to always favor Israel in all situations. He asked if it might be possible that Christians become more balanced in our support for Israel.

 

The answer to that question came from the former head of the Christian Coalition, Ralph Reed. Ralph said that we as Christians do take our support for Israel very seriously. He went on to say that our support for Israel comes from our belief in the Scriptures, and this rendered our support for Israel largely non-negotiable. Ralph went on to say that we would also love to build far more positive relationships with Arab nations.  . 

 

He went on to tell the ambassadors that we love the Arab people no more, and certainly no less than the Israelis. He shared the Scriptural truth that God loves the entire world and sent His son to die for all, regardless of their nationality. He said that our love for Arabs was just as important a priority to us as is our love for Israel.  

 

The conversation then turned to the perception among American Christians of the Arab world.  Pastor Jonathan Falwell shared that as Christians we are strongly pro-life. And, while the vast majority of Christians speak out against the horrors of abortion, we never condone or tolerate violence against those who disagree on the issue. He went on to say that there is a very small minority in the pro-life community who do resort to violence, and when they do, the rest of the Christians strongly and publicly condemn their actions. They make it known that we don’t support any such violence and we do everything possible to stop it.

 

Jonathan went on to say that, likewise, they should strongly condemn the violent action of their radicals as well.  He told them that if they did it would amount to a huge step towards changing perceptions of Muslims in our country.

 

Jonathan said later, “We may never know if those words will be heeded, but there is one thing for sure, “those words were heard loud and clear.”  To God be the Glory!

 

The Call Nashville 7/7/07

 

Saturday, July 7^th approximately 70,000 Christians of all ages made their way to the Titan Stadium in Nashville to fast, repent and pray for America as well as re-commit themselves to the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. All of this happened in unbearable heat, nevertheless Miss Norma, 104 years of age, stayed until the end. She is the grandmother of Sheila Reed and Lisa Bellar, and an encouragement to so many.  

 

May Briscoe wrote sharing what an awesome time it was before the Lord, and how blessed she was to see so much repentance. The Lord had a divine connection for her, and she was able to participate in the walk of repentance through downtown Nashville.  She was grateful for all of the fasting and prayers that covered all of them as they answered His call to the stadium. She went on to say that she believed that answering His call to the staium was probably the most blessed adventures in her life thus far.

 

Betty Laster called to share the blessing she received as she answered His call to the stadium. She was grateful for the cloud cover the Lord gave them in the morning, the awesome worship, and seeing so many pastors and others in Church leadership positions repenting on behalf of the Church.  She was also blessed when Sam Brownback repented on behalf of the US Government for the sins against the Native Americans, African Americans and the Hispanics.  

 

Deborah Cain said that it was a very sobering time for her. At one point in time they were told that Court was in session and they were being weighed in the balance. Deborah is extremely sensitive to the Spirit, and she said that she actually felt the weight of that. She was deeply moved by the testimony of a girl who had had an abortion and the problems as a result of it, then also a father who was broken because he had paid for his daughter to have an abortion, and last but not least a doctor who had performed abortions wept and cried out for mercy. She was so broken before everyone, but suddenly from all over the stadium, everyone began calling out, “We forgive you! We love you!”  She said that tremendous healing came to everyone at that time.

 

There were also great times of joy and exultation. Being of Jewish descent, Deborah was deeply touched at the blowing of 300 shofars along with the thousands of voices that were raised. She said that it turned in to a melody that must have pierced the heavens like an arrow going straight to the heart of God. 

 

Deborah summed it all up by saying that The Call was a day when an imperfect people met with their perfect God. It was not about them, but all about God, who is faithful and true. She said, “I know He heard us!” 

 

Note:  I believe with all my heart that He heard the ones at the stadium, as well as those of us who could not be there. I believe that He was blessed by what He heard. Now His Spirit of Justice will begin to move to answer all of our prayers, bringing terrible calamities, the likes of which we have never seen, that will shake the very core and confidence of our nation.

 

The Holy Spirit Invades the United Nations in New York!

 

Matt Sorger Ministries has released a report that will bless your heart!  There was a Holy Spirit visitation in power that took place while hundreds of diplomats were in session. Many were touched by the Holy Spirit, many fell under the power of Almighty God, and many were saved.  Can you believe it?  It is true! I double checked it! That will be a day none of them will forget soon.  Hallelujah! Go, God, Go!!!  All the Nations will one day bow their knee to our King! They will know Him as King of Kings and Lord of Lords!  

 

Note: We will all see many such miracles in the midst of the judgment that is coming.  Keep in mind that judgment and revival run hand and hand. It is the judgments that cause the revival to come. He has a ways and means committee that many know not of.  PTL!  Let us all continue to Pray in the Harvest!!!  They that sow in tears shall reap in joy!!!      

 

 

Hindu Prayer to Open Senate

 

On July 12^th Eajan Zed, a northern Nevada chaplain will travel to Washington, DC to open the US Senate season with a prayer in Hindu to his Hindu God. This will be the first time that the Senate has been opened by a Hindu praying to a Hindu god.  

 

Alabama Governor Calls For Prayer!

 

Alabama Governor, Bob Riley issued a proclamation calling for a week of prayer for rain. He encouraged Alabamians to pray individually and also in their Houses of Worship. The entire state has been designated a disaster area due to losses caused by drought and high temperatures that have occurred since January 1^st, 2007.  Thank God for a leader who will call the people to prayer.   

 

Christian Tracts Censored

 

In Maryland, a pastor who was attending a July 4^th community band concert and fire works display in a city park was told that he must leave the premises because he was handing out Gospel tracts. Pastor Watson of Pleasant View Baptist Church in Maryland said that “it is a slap in the face” to the veterans whose heroics were being honored at the “Salute to Cecil County Veterans” because of the fervent belief of those who founded the United States that “We have no king but King Jesus!”

 

Pastor Watson went outside the gate and continued to pass out his Gospel tracts and the officials followed him out and said that he was still on public property  He shared his heart but to no avail. He said that it was his first time to attend this event and when he realized that thousands of people would be there he felt that it would be a good time to  share the good news. “After all, he said, the Bible in the Great Commission instructs us to go out and share the Gospel.”  He went on to say, “My heart is terribly burdened for those who don’t know Jesus.”  

 

Seven Christians Arrested For Praying

 

In Elmira, New York police arrested seven Christians who went in to a public park where there was a “Gay” fest beginning and began to pray, face down, while holding their Bibles. They were cited for “disturbing the peace.”  Within three minutes the police had   handcuffs on the seven Christians while the homosexual community cheered. The police told the Christians that they have no rights, not even on public property.

 

 A very similar incident occurred recently in Wichita, Kansas.  Pastor Mike Holick of Spirit One Christian Center asked permission to be on a sidewalk praying across from a public park where there was a “Gay” festival taking place. He was granted permission, but within four minutes was arrested for doing exactly what he had been given permission to do.  

 

Just a week before this police arrested five Christians for carrying signs in protest of a similar festival in St. Petersburg, Florida.  And in Primrose, Georgia Pastor Billy Ball, Assistant Pastor Doug Pitts, Frankie Primavera, and Josh Petetigrew of Faith Baptist Church were arrested for protesting a festival and Bill Holt of Lighthouse Baptist Church in Jefferson, Georgia was also taken in to custody.

 

Note: In almost every one of these cases the pastors were told that Christians have a right to assemble or even protest but not on public property. 

 

In Louisiana a City Ordinance is Used to Silence Christians 

 

A town in Louisiana has begun to use a vaguely written ordinance that is aimed at preventing public disturbances to stifle the Biblical message of a Christian who wanted to share his religious beliefs on a public street.

 

In the town of Zachary, John Netherland was warned that he would be arrested if the message that he was sharing was in any way annoying or offensive. In November this brother was standing on a public sidewalk about 75 to 100 feet away from a bar sharing the Gospel when he was accused of “disturbing the peace”.  His attorney said, “The Constitution prohibits government officials from singling out religious speech for censorship.”  

 

Note: Just a little more than a year ago, the Lord told me to tell His people that persecution was beginning and the momentum would begin to build rapidly. I asked Him how it would begin and He said first by bringing law suits against us, second by putting restrictions on us and then by passing new laws which will silence the voices of His people.  That is exactly what is beginning to happen, and more and more frequently. 

 

President Bush Honors Allah  

 

The God of the Bible, the God worshipped by Christians and Jews instructed Moses and Joshua to take off their shoes when they were standing on “holy ground.”  Once again President Bush, a professing Christian, has removed his shoes in order to enter, stand in and rededicate the Islamic Center in Washington, DC.

 

By removing his shoes in a Muslim place of worship, he was showing deference to a being the Bible describes as a false god, and to an idolatrous religion whose followers are responsible for 90 percent of the conflicts raging in the world today. Although he thinks he is showing tolerance, in truth he is entrenching millions of Mulims around the world in their belief that Christianity is a weak and dying faith, and that Islam has usurped and will conquer it.

 

How many times he has referred to Islam as a “religion of peace” and how many times he has told everyone in his realm of influence that Muslims, Jews and Christians all worship the same god, which is untrue. At one point in time he even said, “I have invested the heart of my presidency in helping Muslims fight terrorism, and claim their liberty, and find their own unique paths to prosperity and peace.”

 

He is also known to have invested the heart of his presidency in pursuing a Middle East Peace Policy that has badly damaged Israel’s security, and threatened to cut the Jews’ homeland in two.

 

Aliyah!

 

North American Aliyah will hit a thirty-three year high in 2007. Some three thousand five hundred North Americans and Canadians will be making aliyah this year. The first planeload went just last week. .Aliyah from South Africa and Australia will also increase this year. A number of Rabbis here in America are now calling their people to awaken and begin to prepare to make Aliyah. They are telling their people that they are too comfortable here in America. They are reminding their congregants that you can only feel really alive in the Land, not in the exile.

 

Missions

 

Please continue to pray for Jan Wilker who is on assignment in the Ukrane at this time.  She will return the end of this month.  Also pray for Shirley Barley as she is traveling to and from Glasgow, Scotland. She returns later this month. Debora Minotti is enroute to  Bournemouth, England. Please pray for the protection of each of these dear ones and that His plans and purposes in sending them will be accomplished. 

 

Tim and Lyris Steuber will be traveling to the Amazon Region of Brazil in August taking medical and dental help to the remote villages as well as sharing the Gospel. They will be traveling on the Amazon River.  Please begin to lay a good foundation of prayer under this mission.
